Charlie Baker

Senior Physiotherapist & First Contact Practitioner

Originally from Torquay, Charlie graduated in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University in 2008.

He then took a slight deviation to work as a ski instructor in the Canadian Rockies. After road tripping across Canada in an old pick-up truck, he returned home to Devon in 2010 and began working in the NHS, specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

In 2015, Sheffield came calling again and Charlie took on the role of Academy Physiotherapist at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. 6 years later, having spent the last two and a half seasons with the first team, he has decided to trade pitch-side for private practice.

Currently alongside his MSK physiotherapy role, Charlie also works as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP physiotherapist) in General Practice for the White House Clinic. This role relies heavily on his ability to make rapid and accurate diagnoses to ensure patients receive the best treatment available as soon as possible.

Away from work Charlie’s biggest passion is for running. He has run four marathons (one in a Kenyan safari park) and enjoys running on the road or on the fells.

With his varied background; working in Elite Sport, 5 years in the NHS, distance running and travelling, he enjoys helping people do the things they love to do.

Our team are ready and waiting to assist with your recovery.
