ISOBAR Compression
£159 for assessment and compression garment
A more personalised approach to compression
At the White House Clinic in Sheffield, we offer ISOBAR precision-engineered compression therapy as part of selected physiotherapy and rehabilitation programmes.
Compression therapy is commonly used to support circulation, reduce swelling, and improve comfort during recovery. However, standard compression garments are often based on generic sizing, which can result in inconsistent pressure and reduced effectiveness.
ISOBAR provides a more personalised approach.
Using ISOFIT® video scanning technology, compression garments are tailored to your individual shape. This allows for more accurate, consistent pressure, helping to better support circulation, reduce swelling, and improve comfort during rehabilitation.
How ISOBAR compression can help
Your physiotherapist may recommend ISOBAR compression as part of your treatment plan to support:
- Circulation and fluid movement
- Reduction of swelling and fluid build-up
- Pain and discomfort during movement
- Recovery following injury or surgery
- Feelings of heaviness or fatigue in the legs
All recommendations are based on your individual assessment and rehabilitation needs.
Supporting runners and active patients
At the White House Clinic Sheffield, we regularly work with runners and active individuals.
ISOBAR compression can be used alongside physiotherapy to support:
- Running and endurance training
- Cycling and triathlon
- Field sports such as football and rugby
- Gym-based training and general fitness
When integrated into a structured rehab plan, compression can help support recovery between sessions and ongoing training consistency.
Post-operative Recovery
Managing early-stage rehabilitation is critical to long term outcomes following surgery.
Many off-the-shelf post-operative compression socks are poorly fitting and aren’t manufactured to the shape of an individual’s leg or with their individual needs and compression pressures taken into account.
ISOBAR’s 3D scanning technology addresses this head on in order to make compression garments that are tailor made for each individual, with a bespoke amount of compression ensuring a truly personalised fit and outcome.
ISOBAR compression can be integrated into post-operative protocols to provide structured support in the initial healing phases by:
Managing post-operative oedema: reducing the swelling in your leg following surgery
Supporting venous return: reducing the risk of DVT during periods of limited mobility following a surgical procedure or injury
Providing structural support: offering a sense of security and stability which can reduce pain and movement anxiety promoting early movement
Facilitating early mobility: with discomfort and swelling more controlled patients often feel ready to engage in their rehabilitation with less hesitation or concern
When used alongside physiotherapy, bespoke compression therapy not only reduces the risks of surgery but also helps you achieve your goals to return to the activities you love most sooner.

- Hands-on physiotherapy
- Exercise-based rehabilitation
- Load management and return-to-sport planning
