A career devoted to effective, empathetic menopause care. Dr. Naomi Potter qualified as a doctor in 2003 after first achieving a Masters degree in psychology. After 16 years practicing as a GP for the NHS, she now specialises solely in Menopause care and treatments.
Naomi’s extensive training includes the advanced certification from the British Menopause Society, the highest level of menopause training available. She achieved her certification under the mentorship of Nick Panay – former chair of the BMS.
As well as being registered with the Royal College of General Practitioners and with the UK General Medical Council, Naomi is also a Diplomate of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health
Naomi applies all this expertise in our patient-centred menopause clinic. With five children (three boys and twin girls), Naomi understands the pressures of a busy family life. That’s why she’s a firm believer in treating patients as people, and giving due respect to their lifestyle, concerns and expectations.
It’s this ethos that runs through the heart of our clinic and enables us to help our patients in a warm, supportive and sensitive environment.
Working with the likes of Lisa Snowdon, Davina McCall and Meg Mathews, Naomi hopes to enable women across the UK to make informed decisions about their bodies.
By communicating evidence based, balanced information in an easily understood way, Naomi aims to empower women with the knowledge they need to manage their menopause, their way.
