White House Clinic Celebrates Decade of Support for Weston Park Cancer Charity

What started as a simple idea has become something extraordinary. The White House Clinic’s decade-long partnership with the Round Sheffield Run has raised nearly £7000 for the Weston Park Cancer Charity, with 2025’s event proving to be another fantastic year for fundraising.

The figures tell a story. But behind every pound raised lies something deeper – runners stopping for a post-race massage, donations dropped into collection buckets, conversations about cancer care that matter.

The physiotherapy clinic has been at Sheffield’s most iconic trail running event for over ten years. With sports massage tables set up in Endcliffe Park, and free advice for runners.

“We’re proud to share that we raised an amazing £1,405 this year,” said Charlie Baker, Senior Physiotherapist at White House Clinic. “That brings our total raised since 2015 to an incredible £6,880 - all thanks to the brilliant running community and everyone who’s supported us over the years.”

The Round Sheffield Run draws runners from across the UK. The runners compete in eleven timed stages across 20 kilometres of Sheffield’s best trails. That's a format which breaks out of the traditional race mould.

White House Clinic’s involvement extends beyond fundraising. The team provides essential physio support throughout the weekend, helping runners stay injury-free across Sheffield’s hilly terrain.

Weston Park Cancer Charity supports patients and families facing cancer diagnosis across South Yorkshire and beyond. Every £150 raised can fund a comfort worker for a week, so no patient faces treatment alone.

The 2025 event marked a special milestone. Ten years of consistent support. Thousands of runners helped.

And next year? The team is already planning its return.
