Sally graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1999 and moved to Manchester where she worked as a Physiotherapist in all specialities for a few years before her love of treating people with neurological conditions took over!
She worked in Cheshire for around 15 years within the NHS treating people with a wide variety of neurological conditions including MS, Parkinsons, Stroke, spinal injury, Dizziness in an outpatient setting. Over this time she completed various specialist courses in Neurology including all the advanced Bobath courses. She moved back to Sheffield with her family and 4 daughters in 2016 where she has since had a variety of roles including working at a specialist private rehab hospital for trauma, running her own private clinical caseload in the community and teaching at Sheffield Hallam University as a Physiotherapy Lecturer. She has a strong passion to ‘keep people moving’ and also an interest in falls prevention in the elderly. She is keen to promote exercise in people with disabilities who are now struggling to function and complete daily tasks.
In her spare time she enjoys running, yoga, pilates and squash if she can fit it in between looking after her kids and 2 labradors!
