Hamoodi Othman

After completing a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy, Hamoodi completed an elective internship at Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha, a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence, before graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with an MSc in Physiotherapy.

Since then, he has worked across the NHS, private practice and international clinical practice, treating musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries and post-operative orthopaedic patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He has a particular interest in helping patients achieve their individual goals, whether that’s returning to work, sport or everyday activities. Hamoodi is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Outside of work, Hamoodi has a lifelong passion for sport. He previously captained the Sheffield United Junior Blades football team, giving him first-hand insight into the challenges injuries can present. Whether supporting athletes or patients recovering from surgery or musculoskeletal conditions, his focus is on helping people regain confidence, restore function and return to the activities that matter most to them.
