    Edward Smith is a sports nutrition practitioner and researcher with over a decade of experience in applied nutrition across a wide range of populations, from recreational exercisers to elite athletes. With a strong academic foundation and a practical, evidence-based approach, Edward works with clients to support health, sustainable weight management, and optimal performance.

    He holds a BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Science from Sheffield Hallam University (2013) and completed postgraduate training in Sports Nutrition through the International Olympic Committee. Over the years, Edward has provided tailored nutritional guidance to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including professional footballers, triathletes, cyclists, climbers, as well as those simply looking to improve their everyday wellbeing through diet and lifestyle changes.

    Edward’s consultancy work is informed by his research position within the Physical Activity, Wellness and Public Health research group at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre, and nearing completion of a vice-chancellor funded doctoral programme in sports nutrition and physiology. His research includes studies on dietary intake, nutritional status, body composition, and weight loss practices in athletic populations - topics directly relevant to general health and performance goals.
