White House Clinic welcomes Specialist Menopause Care Clinic to the building
SHEFFIELD, 11 08 2022 – White House Clinic, a leading provider of physiotherapy treatment, is extending its services available to patients as Menopause Care opens an on-site clinic this summer. The clinic, founded by menopause specialist Dr Naomi Potter, will give women access to expert advice and treatments from British Menopause Society accredited doctors.
There is a limited number of NHS menopause clinics in the UK, many of which have a waiting list of months or even years. With a third of menopausal women saying they suffer from anxiety, and half saying they feel depressed, as well as many other debilitating symptoms, it is important for women to have access to the right treatment and guidance from an expert in the field. The Menopause Care Clinic at White House Clinic will provide the local population with exactly that.
Dr Naomi Potter, founder of Menopause Care, currently has a large online clinic as well as clinic in Barnes, South West London. Her team of menopause doctors will now also be offering a face-to-face clinic from the White House Clinic’s Sandygate location. Dr Naomi Potter is a menopause specialist with over 100,000 social media followers, a successful podcast with Lisa Snowdon, and book due to be published in September, co-authored by Davina McCall. She runs in-person consultations at her two clinics, as well as online.
Dr Naomi Potter says, “I am thrilled to be opening a Menopause Care Clinic at the White House Clinic. The White House Clinic believes that everyone deserves to lead a long, active, and healthy life – an ethos that aligns perfectly with our own. With a location in the north of England we will be able to extend our reach and help more women. The clinic offers a private space where women will be able to comfortably discuss symptoms and treatments.”
The White House Clinic is the leading provider of physiotherapy treatment with ten locations across Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and Derbyshire. The addition of a Menopause Clinic will provide female clients with a chance to boost their wellbeing and lead a healthy, happy life.
Lynn Rogers, General Manager at the White House Clinic says,“We are excited to add a Menopause Clinic to our services in Sandygate and are looking forward to giving our female clients a chance to receive treatment and talk openly about the menopause in a private and comfortable space with a professional who understands their specific needs. A direct referral to our specialist ‘Women’s Health’ physiotherapist Roisin O’Bentley is also available, facilitating a continuation of care and providing the women of Sheffield better access to expert services.”
