Here at the White House many of us are passionate about running. From our love and experience of this activity comes first hand knowledge of how best to manage any niggles or injuries, as well as working on injury prevention strategies.
Our Physiotherapists are vastly experienced in assessing & diagnosing a wide range of running related problems. The most common areas injured are the knee and ankle, however we also see patients for a range of other injuries such as the back and hip.
Once we have established a firm diagnosis of your problem we can implement a rehabilitation programme to help get you back running as soon as is safe and healthy to do so.
Our Physiotherapist's have an excellent pedigree as runners: Sally Fawcett has represented GB in the World Trail Championships in 2015, and Steve Canning has represented GB in Age Group Triathlon at both World and European Championships. Steve recently ran 1:18 for half marathon, and 35:29 for 10km. Both Sally and Steve pin a lot of their success on maintaining good fitness throughout the season, and minimising time lost through injury. They happily pass this knowledge on to their patients (as long as they don't then go and beat them too often!).
